Bridging Gaps in Musculoskeletal Health.
ABOUT
126 million Americans — 1 in 2 adults — suffer from musculoskeletal disorders.
These conditions are the #1 cause of disability in the U.S., costing the healthcare system $420 billion annually, which is more than diabetes, heart disease, or cancer. Yet, access to timely and appropriate musculoskeletal care remains limited for many disadvantaged communities.
We’re the only student-run organization at UCLA working to change that. Through community volunteering and educational outreach, our mission is to empower people with the knowledge and tools to protect their bodies before problems start.
We’re advised by physical therapists and orthopedic doctors, including Dr. Shane Hervey, assistant team physician for UCLA Baseball, bringing real clinical expertise to our student-led mission.
